Registered Nurse

- Assumes responsibility for all aspects of activities in the provision of nursing care to Elders. - Must practice within the nursing philosophy, objectives, standards, guidelines, legislation and policies that are currently enforced. - Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates specific needs of Elders as individuals, ensuring current gerontological practice. - Provides leadership to staff and in the absence of the Director of Care assumes responsibility of the overall operation of Hillside Pines in the absence of the Director of Elder Care and Administrator. -Administers treatment and dispenses medications as prescribed and documents appropriately. -Other duties as assigned by the Director of Elder Care.
