NHNSA is pleased to announce that Stephen Doiron, will assume duties of the Chair for our Association, effective immediately. Doiron, previously Vice Chair, has been a director for several years and brings to the chair position strong leadership skills in long term care and Board governance.
Stephen, the CEO/Administrator of Inverary Manor, Inverness, Cape Breton, will succeed Kyle Richardson who has been NHNSA Board Chair since June 2022 and who has been a stellar and long standing member of the Association’s Board. Richardson, Regional Director of Operations, Northern & Eastern Zones/ Directior of First Nation Services, Shannex has decided to conclude his Chair role due to his expanded professional responsibilities with Shannex but will continue to serve as a director. Kyle’s leadership on the Board has been invaluable to the growth of the Association and the achievement of our advocacy agenda. His expertise has provided guidance and an innovative perspective that has advanced our strategic goals. We are grateful for his many contributions and that he will continue to serve and represent NHNSA.
