We are sending our thoughts and prayers out to those staff members and partners of NHNSA member nursing homes throughout several communities in our province who are enduring big losses and unimaginable hardships from the recent, historical rainfall and flooding.

Once again many Nova Scotians are facing significant worries and uncertainties. We are grateful no evacuations of homes were required but recognize there is still much impact being felt.

As a long term care sector we are united to support our colleagues, friends and communities and are here to help each other.

We also extend a most heartfelt thank you to the heroic first responders and all helping during and in the aftermath of the severe flooding. #NovaScotia #LTC #united
