NHNSA wishes the residents & teams of our members living and working in nursing homes across Nova Scotia and their communities a very happy Canada Day weekend. We also extend best wishes to our valued partners and to everyone contributing to the long term care sector. We are grateful to call Canada home, a country that values and  is enriched by diverse cultures with a strong sense of belonging and a vibrant national spirit. 

Whether Canadians by birth or by choice, we are stronger together. We are united to learn, grow, change and prepare for a strong future and must continue to strive towards truth and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples whose land we live on and love. There will be many celebrations filled with fun, good food and great company.
